Focaccia

Ingredients

  • 420ml of slightly warm water

  • 1 teaspoon (4gr) instant yeast

  • 1 TBSP (5gr) honey 

  • 1 TBSP (15 ml) extra virgin olive oil 

  • 1 TBSP (5gr) Salt 

  • 500 gr. White bread flour  

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients and knead the dough it will be sticky (don’t worry) Cover and let it sit for 10 min. 3 times. 

  2. Cover and refrigerate overnight. 

  3. Place the dough in a Baking tray, ideally 9”x13” / 23x33cm, and let it rest for 2 hours. 

  4. Deep your fingers in the dough and add your favorite toppings. 

  5. Bake on lowest rack 220C or 430F for 18-22 minutes.
