Hi, my name is Julls!
Colors and Food is my treasure and dream. I wanted to start this project since 2016, but I always had something to do and I had full time jobs that “didn’t allow me” to do what I really love. I have a bachelor degree in marketing and worked for big companies which one of them is Amazon. But one day I decided to follow my heart and moved to Seattle with my fiancé in the middle of the pandemic and start Colors and Food.
Right now, I live in Seattle with my love Alex and my two dogs Renard and Mushu. My favorite things in life are a tasty ceviche, learning new cooking techniques, and running in the park with my dogs.
Why “Colors and Food” got that name?
Well, my two passions in life are colors and food. I’ve been in love with colors since I have memory, I know exactly the impact that colors have in our lives and theories about it. And I was amazed when I discovered that the colors in food have different benefits in our bodies.
Also, I’ve been cooking since I was 5 years old. I was always asking to my relatives about how to prepare things and how to combine flavors, and right now, I think that I’m almost nailing it. I’m still learning and, in some cases, perfecting what I already know, but I always cooking with love and passion.
So, if you want easy and healthy-ish recipes with friendly ingredients, but every once in a while some high-level recipes and learn about food techniques, then “Colors and Food” is for you.
